Football

There are 10 specialized educational and sports institutions in Minsk, where 3,118 people play football, 308 of them are girls. In the championship of the Republic of Belarus in football in the highest, first and second leagues, the capital is represented by 6 clubs (FC Dynamo Minsk CJSC, FC Minsk FC, FC Skvich LLC, FC Dynamo Minsk-2 CJSC, Zvezda-BSU, FC FCIs FC Minsk-2), as well as two teams of the women’s football championship of the Republic of Belarus (Zorka-BDU, FC Minsk FC).
Every year, over 40,000 fans of various ages take part in mass football events. For football events, there are 5 stadiums where national-level competitions can be held, as well as 25 artificial turf sites of non-standard sizes.

Minsk championships among children and young men, the championship and the Cup of Minsk among amateur teams are regularly held. The Football Championship of the Republic of Belarus: the highest, first and second league; the RB Cup, the Super Cup.

Only 3 clubs (FC Minsk FC, FC Dynamo Minsk CJSC, BSU RCOP Football Club) have their own sports facilities for conducting the training process.
